Lifestyle coach

Why should you hire a life coach?

As a life coach I aid my clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. Whether you struggle with food, body image, relationships or loving yourself, I can help you.

A a Life coach I can help you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies together for overcoming each obstacle. Hiring a lifestyle coach dramatically improves results in any area that you wish to improve. The support, accountability and my love that you are cocooned in when we work together is priceless.

You can google anything and find the answers…. but what google can’t do for you is:

  1. Discover your blocks that are holding you back from  where you want to be. Most of the time you can’t see what’s holding you back either – hence why having a professional who does this for a living is crucial.
  2. Personalise everything to you for your goals, personality and lifestyle.
  3. Educate and teach you what you need to know in the perfect order and know when to give you extra love and compassion or a big loving kick up the ass!
  4. Hold you accountable to make the changes and do the inner and outer work that creates transformation.
  5. Cocoon you in love, support and wisdom in the exact does that you need when you need them.

This is where I come in…

Life Coaching myths

Here are some lifestyle coach misconceptions from the one and only Tony Robbins:

“Anyone can be a life coach and coaches do not require training.” This isn’t the case. Great life coaches must possess the right blend of expertise and skilled delivery. This ensures that they can properly encourage clients while determining and resolving the core issues that merit attention in each case.

I (Victoria) have had over 500 hours of coach training, including psychology, spirituality and disordered eating training. I am a certified Transformational Coach so I have all the skills needed to help you transform your life.

“Coaching is like unlicensed therapy.” Those looking for a life coach definition often wonder about the difference between this and therapy. Life coaching is focused on your present and your future. Coaching accepts your current reality and looks to improve your outcome moving forward. Life coaches are not health professionals, and they do not diagnose you. In contrast, therapy focuses on your past and looks to delve into past actions and patterns. It is analytical, but not action-oriented.

I personally offer a therapy type of coaching if it is needed in order to move forward. Everyone is different and of course, as a lifestyle coach, I am able to personalise everything to you.

How does lifestyle coaching work?

Although different types of life coaches may work in a variety of ways, I will give you an idea of how it works with me.

Depending on what you have come to me for – usually, it’s self-love, self-confidence, food and body freedom – I will always work with you to create a custom action plan. Alongside our custom action plan, I take you through one of my virtual programs specifically created to help you even further.

During 1:1 lifestyle coaching, first we will define your vision:

What is it that truly drives you? What’s at the basis of your goals?

After answering those questions, we’ll work together to identify barriers and limiting beliefs that have been holding you back.

What negative things have you been telling yourself? How have these patterns gotten in your way and how can you move past them?

Finally, we will set challenging, but achievable, goals. I will ensure that you are not settling for limited goals or being too negative as you assess your position by helping you calibrate your long and short-term goals against your core values.

Assessing your current position helps us to measure your progress and identify current and potential obstacles. After this important step, we will review your resources and all courses of action available to you in order to create a plan of action. You’ll then decide which specific steps you will take and when you will take them. You will prepare for potential obstacles and decide how to cope with them. At this time, you will ensure that each step supports your end goals, while I will help you stay on track and monitor your progress.

If your plan needs modification at any point, I will help you with this as well, which will empower you to stay committed.

There’s a reason that life coaching is the second-fastest growing profession in the world – because it works for people. The true life coach definition is a committed professional who has the right training and tools to help you achieve any goal.

Few people can honestly say that they are already performing at the top of their game each and every day. If you are ready to truly maximize your human potential, free yourself from food and body prison and take your life and happiness to the next level, then it’s time to seek out a life coach.
