“For 30 years I have battled with my weight. I have spent all of my adult life so far losing weight and gaining weight, usually gaining more than I lost. Oh, how I used to wish I was as fat now as I thought I was when I first started a diet. I’m sure you know the story.
It goes something like, I hate being this big, I’m going on a diet, it lasts a while and I lose some weight, I’ll just have one biscuit, one pack later and I might as well carry on, bring on the chocolate, I’m making the most of it before I start again on Monday, repeat for 30 years and just get fatter and more frustrated!
I was so bloody miserable, arguing with my own mind every single day and I knew I had to do something that I had never done before… invest in myself.
Reaching out to Victoria has been the best decision I’ve made. She is an absolute queen and after just a 45-minute chat I knew, without a doubt, that she was going to change my life. I wasn’t wrong.
Now, I’m still a work-in-progress but I’m a much happier, more confident and very content version of the woman I was just a few months ago.
Have I lost weight? My clothes are definitely much looser but I don’t need to weigh myself. Do I still eat chocolate and biscuits? Of course, I do. Do I feel the need to eat it in huge amounts before I restrict myself again? Definitely not. I know I will never restrict again. My weight is actually not an issue anymore. Looking after myself and trusting my body to let me know what I need is now my focus. Sometimes that’s a moment to myself or a nice walk or even a nap. Sometimes it’s a chicken salad or peanut butter & banana on a wholemeal bagel and other times it’s fish and chips or a big bar of chocolate or both.
I am actually living now rather than just existing and life is so wonderful. I will be eternally grateful to Victoria for helping me to find myself. Her positivity is infectious and I could just sit and chat with her forever. What she does is nothing less than amazing. ❤️❤️”
